Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Ireland was founded by Kathleen Moran, beginning in 2016, to promote reading for pleasure and is administered by the JCSP Library Demonstration Project, and supported by City of Dublin ETB, Children’s Books Ireland, LAI Youth Libraries Group, Laureate na nÓg, CDETB Curriculum Development Unit, Poetry Ireland and many more .
